Yellow  fingerling potatoes are small in size and are oblong, slender, and crescent in shape. . The skin is khaki-colored with many light brown spots freckled across the surface and a few, medium-set eyes. The skin is also waxy, exceptionally smooth, and so thin that it is rarely peeled. The yellow to gold flesh is soft, dense, and moist. When cooked, yellow fingerling potatoes are fluffy and have a full-bodied, buttery, and nutty taste

Busy Bea’s Market Garden produces certified organic potatoes, onions, garlic, herbs and a variety of other vegetables in the Oldman River valley just east of Fort Macleod, Alberta. The business was started in Coaldale in 1989 by Trevor Aleman’s parents John and Bea. Trevor took over in 1999 and now farms with his wife Cindy and their six children.
