We’re so excited to have the amazing Costa Rica Monte Crisol coffee as a medium roast coffee. The Monte Crisol beans are certified organic. They have all the deliciousness that high-grade Costa Rica coffees offer. The flavours are grounded in subtle layers of walnut and cocoa, and you’ll pick up sweet notes of cola and caramel. Throughout, you’ll get a hint of lemon zest that gives this wonderful coffee a unique lift. Oh, wait… as if that’s not enough! You can feel extra good about supporting this coffee! Monte Crisol is grown by a cooperative that was founded in 1962 in Palmares, Alajuela. They use state-of-the-art processes and equipment. This qualifies them for certifications in both quality and environment management. Co-op members also have access to low interest loans and healthcare for families through the co-op run health center and mobile clinic.
