Green kale is a leafy vegetable that is a member of the Cabbage family. Kale is known for its high nutritional content. Green kale has a long hard stem running through the leaf, which has curled edges and is tender. Green kale offers a flavour similar to the Green cabbage with mild sweet undertones. Great in salads raw or charred, sauteed as a side dish, or in the oven to make kale chips.
