Amazing as a side dish, this winter squash is fan favorite. Cut in half, scoop the seeds out, season with salt and pepper and rub with canola oil. Roast in the oven flesh side down, the squash should be very tender when cooked. Remove and allow to steam for several minutes. Use a fork to scrape the flesh into beautiful strands and serve as a wonderful side dish.
Spaghetti squash has a very mild, almost neutral flavor but being slightly sweet. It's not nearly as strong in flavor as other winter squash, like acorn or butternut squash
