The Ultimate Bacon Cheeseburger

Soft brioche bun, grass fed 8oz all beef patty, pepper bacon, applewood smoked cheddar, tender butter lettuce, juicy beefsteak tomato, onion and pickle.

Ingredients

1 8oz Grass Fed Beef Burger

1 Brioche Burger Bun
-
3 Strips Peppered Bacon
-
2 Slices Applewood Smoked Cheddar
-
2 Leaves Butter Lettuce
-
1 Slice of Beefsteak Tomato
1 Round thick slice of Red or Yellow Onion
-
1 Garlic Dill Pickle Sliced
-
Fermented Ketchup (to taste)

Black Pepper Mustard
Directions
Preheat a Cast Iron or Grill Pan on your Stove. You can also use a fry pan, just make sure it is smoking hot.
Cook the bacon in the oven until crispy. One Cooked you drain the bacon fat, or if you want a real treat cook the burger in the bacon fat.
Place the burger in the hot pan, and cook the burger for 4 min Flip completely over and cook for 4 min other side. Burger is done when the internal temperature reaches 160F. Place cheese on burger and allow the natural heat to soften and melt the cheese
Toast your brioche bun lightly
Slather both sides of the bun with your preferred condiments. We love the Black Pepper Mustard and Fermented Ketchup!
Place the burger on the bun, add the bacon and garnish with lettuce, tomato, pickle and onion.

Recipe Note
Try grilling your onions instead of raw!
You can also make a great burger sauce using ketchup, mayonnaise, yellow mustard, minced white onion and pickle.
