Let Us (Re)Introduce You to Pork Chops

Name 4 other ways to cook pork chops in 10 seconds, go!

Did we get you? Don't worry, here are 4 of our favourite dishes that brings out all the hidden talents of boneless pork chops - Tonkatsu, Schnitzel, Pork Stir Fry, and Jerk Pork.

1. Tonkatsu

With fresh boneless pork chops and some pantry staples like flour, eggs, and breadcrumbs, you won't be making trips to your favourite Japanese restaurant anymore!

Useful Tips:

  • Moisten the breadcrumbs by gently spraying them water
  • Double fry the meat after letting it sit for 2-3 minutes after the first fry

2. Schnitzel

Using very similar ingredients and cooking process as tonkatsu, schnitzel is another delicious meal option using boneless pork chops if you're a meat pounder owner.

Oil temperature is key. Too high will burn the outside leaving the inside undercooked and too low will make the crust soggy.

330°F or 165°C is perfect.

3. Pork Stir Fry

We can't really think of anything easier than making a stir fry. It conveniently mixes a variety of healthy ingredients into one dish.

Next time you make one, throw in some pork chop slices for a mouthwatering dish everyone at the table will love.

Useful tip:

Marinate the pork slices with potato starch and water (or soy sauce) before cooking to make the meat juicy and tender!

4. Jerk Pork

If you're a big jerk chicken fan and want to taste this fiery and aromatic flavour on a new meat and texture, give this a try!

Cooking it on a grill will give it the signature burn taste but a large skillet would do if your grill is covered in snow.

Don't forget to grab a Jerk Sauce from the award-winning sauce crafters - Bow Valley BBQ.
