Ingredients
-
1/2lb Grass Fed Ground Beef
-
1 Tbsp Mexican Mystery Spice
-
1 Cup Short Grain Brown Rice (cooked, follow package directions)
-
1/4 Cup Small Green Cabbage
-
1/4 Cup Pico de Gallo
-
1/4 Cup Guacamole
-
1/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar
-
1/4 Cup Chili Beans (cooked, follow package directions)
-
1-2 Tbsp Sour Cream
-
Tortilla Chips (optional)
Fresh Lime (optional)
Fresh Cilantro Sprigs (optional)
Directions
Prepare your rice and beans according to package directions (can be done a day ahead of time)
Remove Ground Beef from packaging and blot dry. Season with Mexican Mystery Spice and sear on high heat, breaking up the meat. Once cooked, set aside until plating.
Build your bowl! Start by adding the rice in the bowl and add your garnishes around the rice, dollop the sour cream, pico de gallo and guacamole in the middle. Garnish with optional ingredients to finish.
Recipe Note
Building Bowls can be subjective. Build them based on your appetite size or think ahead and make one for dinner and one for lunch!
A simple guide to start would be using 1 cup of grains and 1/4 cup of all your garnishes, dressing to taste. This recipe is more of a guideline than a hard fast recipe. Once again, always have fun and add anything you feel like.
