Ingredients
-
3-5 Large Agria Potatoes
-
1 Cup Organic Heavy Cream
-
1 Cup Organic Milk 2%
-
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese (grated)
-
1 Cup Mild Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
-
2 Cloves Garlic (minced)
-
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Nutmeg (grated or ground ) (Optional)
Directions
Preheat your oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9x9 or 2 quart baking dish.
Use a Mandoline, Sharp knive or food processor to slice your potatoes, roughly 1/4" thick.
Place sliced potatoes in a large mixing bowl, pour in heavy cream and milk. Sprinkle in the grated parmesan, salt, garlic and nutmeg (optional). Toss to coast evenly.
Spread the potato mixture into your pan, layering the potatoes evenly. Press down on the potatoes to set them in the pan. Top the potatoes with the mild cheddar cheese.
Bake the Scalloped Potatoes for approximately 1 hour or until a knife can pierce the middle with no resistance. Broil the top if needed (watch closely!)
Recipe Note
If the top of the scalloped potates are not brown enough, use your broiler setting for 1 minute or two to achieve the golden brown bubbling top!
